Serving New Jersey with over 45 years of experience, Charlie Brown's Steakhouse offers our signature and aged hand-carved, slow-roasted Prime Rib, delicious USDA Choice steaks, Certified Angus Beef burgers, our famous Unlimited Farmer's Market Salad Bar™ and so much more. Our philosophy is simple; to provide great food, exceptional value and friendly service to each and every customer we serve.

 
Our Challenge

Re-Design the online presence for a restaurant chain that has been in business for over 40 years and communicate the brand message “Your Classic Steakhouse” by providing an elegant website experience that prominently features the restaurant’s loyalty club, location finder and special “What’s Happening” offerings.

The website needed to:

  • Include jQuery slider animation to showcase different sized images for the different sections of the website throughout

  • Integrate RSS Feeds for news/press releases

The Solution

Visual Identity Group incorporated elements such as rich colors, the new Charlie Brown’s menu cover, large photographic imagery, design textures and structural pieces, which are visible at the restaurant locations, into the website design. The result is a robust online experience that captures the look of a classic steakhouse. The site includes our Visual YouManage™ Content Management System, which allows the client to easily update content, images, and current promotions.

Visual Identity Group created an interactive website experience which utilizes initial creative which was worked and modified for it's objectives while focusing on the end user experience, mobile platforms, and integrating social media such as Twitter feeds.

The site is designed utilizing html/css/jQuery and LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) stack technology with a heavy emphasis in HTML for SEO optimization, mobile phone/tablet viewing and non-flash Internet users. The site takes advantage of the Visual YouManage™ Content Management System (CMS), which allows the client to easily update content, add blog and news articles, projects, graphic design and research + development.

 
The Result

Visual Identity Group delivered a website for Charlie Brown's that brought a quick and overwhelmingly positive response from both customers and employees of the organization. Site analytics are increasing monthly and visitor retention rate and search engine ranking has improved markedly.

In addition, management can now easily promote special product offerings and feature promotions for holidays and special events.
