About the Davey Awards:
The Davey Awards is an international creative award focused exclusively on honoring outstanding creative work from the best small agencies worldwide. The 2016 Davey Awards received nearly 4,000 entries from ad agencies, interactive agencies, production firms, in-house creative professionals, graphic designers, design firms and public relations firms. David defeated the mighty Goliath with a big idea and a little rock. That is the sort of thing small agencies do every day. The Davey Awards honors the achievement of the “Creative David’s” where strength comes from ideas, intelligence and out-of-the-box thinking, not a “Giant’s” bankroll. Who is behind the Davey:
The Davey is judged and overseen by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA). The AIVA is an invitation-only member-based organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media. About the AVA Digital Awards:
AVA Digital Awards is an international competition that recognizes excellence by creative professionals responsible for the planning, concept, direction, design and production of digital communication. Work ranges from digital engagement campaigns – to audio and video production – to website development – to social media interaction – to mobile marketing.

Who is behind the AVA Digital Awards:
AVA Digital Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The international organization consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production and free-lance professionals. AMCP administers recognition programs; provides judges; and rewards outstanding achievement and service to the profession.

AMCP was founded in 1995 by a group of creative professionals involved in competitions for several of the national and international trade organizations. The goal of the group was to provide an inexpensive, independent competition on an international level that would be fair, respected and open to everyone.

Over the years, AMCP’s programs evolved into the AVA Awards, Hermes Creative Awards,MarCom Awards and Communitas Awards. Entrants to those programs form the membership of AMCP. AMCP’s Advisory Board administers the programs. Each board member contributes a specific real world expertise that enhances the knowledge of the board as a whole. Board members participate in and oversee judging, and help establish the goals and direction of the organization.

As part of its mission, AMCP fosters and supports the efforts of creative professionals who contribute their unique talents to public service and charitable organizations. AMCP members can enter pro bono work without charge. In addition, the efforts of generous marketing and communication professionals are acknowledged through grants and special recognition.
